ABOUT US

Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association (PEVA/Pittsburgh Elite) is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit volleyball club.  We are the oldest and most successful club in Western Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh Elite has a tradition of being an outstanding family organization whose primary focus is to promote skill development, personal growth and sense of teamwork among its members.  Many of our athletes continue their volleyball careers in college, maintain lifelong friendships or return to Pittsburgh Elite as coaches or coach elsewhere be it club, high school or on the collegiate level. We are fortunate to train and compete in our own 5 court facility located in Emsworth for the past 10 years. PEVA is a member of the KRVA, JVA, AAU, and USA Volleyball organizations.

We offer a variety of playing options to fit different commitment levels and volleyball goals. Our club teams train at a high level and compete in tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally. Our programs, clinics, camps, and leagues offer in house beginner to advanced training and competition.

The PEVA organization has been offering male and female youth athletes opportunities to train and play volleyball for decades. Although Pittsburgh Elite is primarily a girls youth organization (with 26 travel teams), the boys game is growing and we are proud to be a part of that movement. In the early 2000's, PEVA offered a few club teams for boys ages 16U-18U. PEVA also offered co-ed travel teams for 10-12U aged athletes (as permitted by USAV) before starting the boys program back up last season. During the 2021-2022 season, Pittsburgh Elite housed three 14U boys teams. The interest and participation in our program has grown immensely over the Spring and Summer months, therefore, we are hoping to expand the Boys Travel Team Program and offer more teams, and more age groups in the upcoming seasons.

MISSION STATEMENT

Student athletes are the primary focus of the Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association. We set out to teach the skills of the game of volleyball, and prepare all athletes to face daily challenges with a growth mindset. This is guided by a knowledgeable staff in a safe, positive and supportive environment, all of which promote excellence.

VISION

The vision of the Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association is to be an elite volleyball organization that inspires excellence on and off the court and empowers male and female athletes to be the best they can be everyday.
